Night is the time when most of our sleep related problems occur, of course. Many diseases usually strike during the nighttime rather than daytime, such as stroke, heart attack, and asthma, just to name a few. According to the information on sleep disorders there are many warning signals that your body will give you before it totally breaks down. By definition, one who suffers from insomnia will be unable to sleep. This might start with intermittent insomnia or transient insomnia, and then turn directly into a chronic condition. Intermittent and transient insomnia are usually triggered by certain stressful situations such as noise, sudden change of place, stress, anxiety, as well as extreme happiness, excitement, and the sudden visit of a very dear one. Once the irritant is removed, the victim will likely be totally cured.

We all have a biological clock inside us. If you have to get up early in the morning and you have slept late and you know that you might not be able to get up with the alarm that you are going to set for the morning, then the best thing is to just tell yourself as to what time you need to get up. When you tell your mind that you need to get up at one specific time then you will automatically get up at that point in time and that would amaze you. This has really amazed me and I have tried it several times and it has worked every time I told myself that I need to be up at a specific time.

Causes of Insomnia

People who suffer from insomnia will experience symptoms such as irritability, inability to concentrate, forgetfulness, lack of behavioral integrity, impaired immune systems, and depression, which is one of the leading causes of insomnia. It so happens that more than 35 percent of the people who suffer from insomnia are actually suffering from acute depression and on the verge of becoming suicidal. This is why it is important that you have adequate information on sleep disorders so you can get help at the right time.
