Hypersomnia:Information, Symptoms and Causes

Hypersomnia is an excessive amount of sleepiness, resulting in an inability to stay awake.

Even though hypersomniacs sleep more than is considered necessary (or even healthy) at night, they may still need to take frequent naps during the day.

Symptoms

The symptoms of Hypersomnia are simply excessive sleepiness.

Causes

Hypersomnia can be caused by a range of factors, such as:

  • Being overweight
  • Heredity / Family History
  • Brain damage
  • Depression

Random Sleeping Tip
There are a lot of times when children want to sleep with their children and they often do have restless sleep at night. If the size of the bed is small then you might be kicked several times during the night and this will disturb your sleep greatly. So it is best that you get yourself a King sized bed so that you have the option to have a good enough area to move in the bed and that way you can have a good night sleep without being kicked by the kids.
