Excessive sleep disorder usually creeps into people without much physical exercise or involvement in an active life.
It instills drowsiness always into one’s mind and hence people affected by excessive sleep disorder always tends to take a short nap in irregular interval which results in weight gain, loose body structure, loss of appetite to eat, fatigue, dull and down mood, emotional imbalance etc.
It is wise to avoid these problems even before they occur. No one could predict when we would be attacked by such a disorder.
So it is advisable to any normal human being, though they are fit and fine to follow a regular clockwise timing of sleep, which our body would biologically adopt and set to it. Further apart from the time we sleep irrelevant of how many hours it is, the most important fact is the quality of our sleep.

Where as a normal long sleeper feels much light and replenished after his sleep.
Excessive sleep disorder is in short, episodes of sleep always significant and requires the same mode for sleep. A sleep disorder is generally diagnosed only through a healthcare professional; however we can determine whether we are at the risk of excessive sleeping and approach the physician as soon as possible.
Generally if we feel excessively tired during the day, then it is time to consider whether there is a medical cause behind our excessive sleepiness.
Excessive sleep disorder generally shows its impact in one’s life through affecting their capabilities during work, this disorder is heavily dangerous when it occurs while driving automobile which could lead the driver to face accidents without his self control, and it also blasts relationships. Hence, the sooner one realizes the symptom and get treated, the betterment for his/her life.
